‘Summer Choral’ 1st June

A Charity Choir Service is taking place in St. Anne’s Church in Portmarnock on Sunday 1st June at 7.30pm in aid of the IMNDA. This Summar Choral will include the vocal talents of the Portmarnock Choir and the Abey Valley Welsh Male Voice Choir. Please support this event, entry is free with donations being taken for the IMNDA.

‘Women’s Mini Marathon’ 2nd June

Registration for the Flora Women’s Mini Marathon is now open! It’s going to be another fantastic day ladies so please get your place on the race confirmed before it fills up. Visits http://www.florawomensminimarathon.ie/or buy the Evening Herald on a Wednesday or Saturday for your form.
The Mini Marathon is taking place on Bank Holiday Monday – 2nd June and we’d love to see as many of you running the race to make a difference to people with Motor Neurone Disease. Raising €250 can provide 20 hours of Home Help for someone who really needs it. Get your runners and your green IMNDA tees on and hit the streets of Dublin this summer! Thank you for your support.

Waterford Viking Marathon 28th June
The IMNDA is delighted to be one of the 2 chosen charities for the Waterford Viking Marathon on 28th June alongside Aware.
On the back to two successful annual events WLRfm’s Waterford Viking Marathon is now open for registration. This year sees the introduction of a new and improved route making the course even flatter and faster than before!
There is also a unique Quarter Marathon option, measuring in at 6.55miles or 10.54km, ideal for new budding runners!

‘Ring of Kerry’ 5th July
This event, now in it’s 31st year, is the biggest one day charity fundraising event in Munster, attracting thousands of leisure cyclists who will experience a fun and rewarding day’s cycling, completing 112 miles of the spectacular Ring of Kerry, while at the same time fundraising for worthy Kerry based Charities.
Kerry Friends of Motor Neurone Disease are absolutely delighted to have been selected as one of the beneficiaries of the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle 2014!!
We need as many cyclists as possible to take part and cycle the Ring of Kerry on Saturday 5th July.
Help us to make life easier for people with Motor Neurone Disease by providing them with the gift of communication by means of Tobii eye gaze technology.

Walk to D-feet MND’ 19th July

On Saturday 19th July at 11am, the IMNDA is hosting it’s 2nd ever ‘Walk to D-Feet MND’. Last year over 100 people came together with friends and family on a blazing hot summer’s day for a beautiful 5k walk (or run!) in the picturesque grounds of Castletown House in Celbridge, Co Kildare. Registration is €25 and can be paid at our Online Shop or on the day, all children under the age of 12 go free. This is a fully accessible route both buggy and wheelchair friendly. All walkers get a green IMNDA t-shirt and light refreshments. For more information call 1800 403 403 or email . The IMNDA will be based in front of the house and registration opens at 10am.
