May 22nd, 2012
Take part in the first ever Tag Rugby H-Cup and Support the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association
Fancy being a H-Cup winner like Leinster? Well now you can be. Former Heineken Cup winner and recently retired Munster and Ireland player David Wallace, along with Munster’s Marcus Horan and Leinster’s Ciaran Ruddock joined Claire and Amanda from Fraser Models to launch the first ever Tag Rugby H-Cup.
This unique Tag Rugby one day charity blitz is taking place on the 16th of June at Blackrock College RFC, Co. Dublin from 12pm in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA). In association with Pitch Perfect events, the IMNDA is all set to host the first ever Tag Rugby H-Cup.
24 teams will play symbolising the 24 European teams that competed in this year’s European Cup. This is your chance to represent your team for the day whether it’s Munster, Ulster, Clermont or Ospreys and be in with a real chance of lifting the H-Cup!
It’s just €220 to submit your team and be part of this fun day of Tag with live music, DJs, a barbecue plus special guests presenting the awards. For more information and to enter your Tag team call Gemma or Maeve on 01 873 0422. Visit imnda.ieor email.
All proceeds raised will go towards helping people with Motor Neurone Disease; an incurable neurological condition that leaves people unable to do everyday things that the rest of us take for granted, walking, talking and swallowing may become virtually impossible.
MND strikes people across all ages and there is currently no known cure. The IMNDA provides specialised services for people affected by this debilitating disease such as equipment on loan, financial assistance towards home help, advice and home visits by MND Nurse Specialists. The association also funds research.
In order to provide these vital services the IMNDA depends heavily on fundraising and donations which generates over 75% of its income
