“My close friend Maurice McDonough was also feeling a little down at the time, so I thought, let’s do something positive and challenging and focus on helping others and maybe we would benefit as well.
So, I dreamt up this calendar project and persuaded Maurice and his friends in a Wicklow Art Group to join in, to produce twelve beautiful and striking paintings.
Maurice then produced from a hat, the kindest most professional printer friend you could wish for, Chris Jameson. Together we three chose the calendar design and he rapidly produced and printed the finished article.
