A huge thanks to Valerie Hurley & all in Mick Finns Bar who organised and supported the Charity Pool Tournament, which was sponsored by Guinness Diageo and Bulmers Ireland
This event was held to raise funds for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association The John Doherty Family.
Valerie herself recounts the weekends events below and we are very grateful to her and all who supported this event to raise funds for and awareness of IMNDA.

We had 36 players whom were all there to play pool and raise funds for the IMNDA. A cause that is very close to us all here in Clonakilty, and nationwide, including the John Doherty Family.
As an ambassador for the IMNDA, I want to thank everyone involved in such a great event. These funds will help families all over Ireland.
On a personal note, I thank you on behalf of my family for your ongoing support My husband Michael lost his battle with MND four years ago this month, My brother in law was also diagnosed which has been heartbreaking. So seeing this support has been heartwarming so thank you.
The IMNDA community will always hold a special place in my heart and so many around our town. So lastly thank you all again for your support.
