#ClimbwithCharlie funds new nurse for IMNDA

#ClimbwithCharlie took place on the 2nd April in 2022. Over €3 million was raised for Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association & Pieta House.

We are forever grateful to everyone who climbed their own mountains and extended the hand of friendship to Charlie, Claire, Tiger, the MND Community & Pieta House. Huge huge gratitude.

On the 1st anniversary of this phenomenal event, we would like to tell you about ‘one’ of the projects achieved because of the wonderful funds raised by #ClimbwithCharlie.

“We are delighted to announce Áine McFadden to the IMNDA Nursing Team.  Aine brings with her a wealth of expertise and nursing skills, and she will complement the team.  She has worked in a variety of roles in the community supporting people living safe and well.

When we received the funds from #ClimbwithCharlie, we surveyed those living with MND to understand their needs and access to more nurses was a key finding. We would like to thank Charlie, Claire and all of you who supported #ClimbwithCharlie once again for all your superb efforts with this phenomenal fundraiser.
