"I couldn't have an actual 50th birthday last year because of Covid, but I did use the occasion along with the Drink Tea for MND Month to raise funds. I invited my colleagues for virtual tea, and then along with the would've been party goers we had a Zoom birthday party too! The party goers all donated their drinks money and I eventually ended up doubling my target! My Dad passed away from MND aged just 64, and he was regularly the heart of a good party, so I'm certain he would've approved!" - Rob Garvey
“It was so much fun having a virtual Drink Tea for MND event last year! A group of friends having tea and cake on Zoom was a real joy in the middle of summer. It's so easy to do what we do best - drink tea! - and raise funds to support the amazing work of the IMNDA"
— Holly Dignam
“I was blown away by the generosity of my work colleagues. My friend who has MND is awaiting an eye gaze system, so I hope my contribution will help in some meaningful way”.
— Caroline
“It has been a very positive thing to do. We lost our friend 6 months ago and just wanted to support. I’m already thinking of next year! Congratulations and good wishes to everyone in the IMNDA”.
— Mary
“We had a very successful tea event and we will continue to raise awareness of this amazing cause. Thank you all at IMNDA for everything you have done for us as a family and for everything you do every day. We are forever indebted to you”.
