Sometimes Silence Speaks Volumes!

The Speech and Language therapy department in Cork University Hospital will be participating in a sponsored silence to support people living with MND.

More than 80% of people living with MND will experience some form of speech difficulty during their illness – some will lose their voice completely.

We’re staying quiet because sometimes silence speaks volumes.

Please give a Silence donation and help us reach our fundraising target in support of people living with MND.

By donating today – not only are you helping to fund nursing service, extra home care hours and critical equipment that's needed to keep people at home - you are also giving a voice to people with MND.

Vital equipment that the IMNDA provides includes communication aids like iPads with Predictable App so people with affected speech can still have conversations with their loved ones.

There are more than 450 people affected by this cruel and debilitating disease all across Ireland; will you help me to give them a voice?

The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) is the only organisation in this country supporting these families and it’s a charity that’s very close to our hearts.

Please support our fundraising efforts and help us ensure that every person living with MND can be heard.

Thank you.
