IMNDA Grants

Home Care

The IMNDA provides financial assistance towards home care for people with MND. This is a maximum payment of €180 weekly. This payment is designed to act as a top up to HSE funded home care hours when the HSE hours are not sufficient to provide the level of care that is required for the client. The grant must be used through a home care agency.

To avail of the IMNDA home care grant for a person with MND, please call services on 1800 403 403 or email services@imnda.ie. We do not recommend any specific care agencies but please find details HERE of agencies that have been used by others living with MND. To find a home care agency, you can also ask your local public health nurse or health centre.
