Sing While You Can

Fr. Tony was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease last March and he raised awareness of his illness by walking from Letterkenny to Ballydehob over the summer in the campaign ‘Walk While You Can’. In Father Coote’s words – “Since I was diagnosed I realised the only medication is 24 years old and that the Motor Neurone Disease Association can only provide three nurses for the whole country with just over 400 people living with this illness. Their salaries are paid for by church gate collections. Rather than just complaining about these facts I want to use my time and my voice to do something about it”.
Oatlands College are delighted to announce a star line up featuring talents Brian Kennedy, Moya Brennan, Camille O’Sullivan, Johnny Logan, Liam O’Maonlaí and Fr. Ray Kelly who will perform on the night. The evening will also feature the Oatlands College Choir joined by the Rockford Manor Choir conducted by Ms. Laura Whyte and Ms.Sinead Rodger as well as the Oatlands College Senior Choir conducted by Ms. Sinead Rodger.
