Take Me Out for Charity!!

March 26th, 2013

Are you single and looking for love? Well if so listen up! The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) is bringing Charity Take Me Out to Dublin with the hilarious ‘no holds barred’ Comedian Damian Clark of Republic of Telly fame as special guest MC.

We are looking for fun loving girls & guys to take part in this dating fundraiser – no likey no lighty! The event is taking place on Wednesday 17th April in The Workman’s Club, Wellington Quay, Dublin 2 – Doors open at 7pm. A lot of laughs are guaranteed!

This is a not to be missed event; to sign up all you need to do is email  or call 1800 403 403. For spectators, tickets for this evening of love are only €15 and include entry into the club night afterwards.

All proceeds from the event will go towards providing services for people affected by this debilitating disease. One person dies every five days from Motor Neurone Disease; a progressive neurological condition that leaves people unable to do the everyday things that the rest of us take for granted. Walking, talking and swallowing may become virtually impossible.

MND strikes people across all ages and there is currently no known cure. The IMNDA provides specialised services such as equipment on loan, financial assistance towards home help, advice and home visits by a MND Nurse Specialist. The association also funds research.

In order to provide these vital services the IMNDA depends heavily on the generosity of the public and friends of the association who generate over 75% of its income.
