We cannot thank Alan Gilmartin enough for the challenge he took on in August in honour of friend Sean who was diagnosed with MND earlier this year. Alan decided he would participate in Sligo’s famous Warriors Run but he wouldn’t just complete it once….Alan did this gruelling course twice over in quick succession!!! The IMNDA was just blown away by what Alan has achieved both through this physical challenge but also the funds that have been raised to support our families living with MND. Alan, his wife Fiona and mom Maura travelled to Dublin from Sligo to hand over an enormous €37,330 to our own Jackie Martin. From the bottom of our hearts thank you to the Gilmartin family and every person and business in the local community who contributed to this epic fundraiser!!
