Walk While You Can 2024

See you all in Clontarf next Saturday 19th!

Hi all,

We are absolutely blown away by the donations, kind words and messages of support since starting this for the IMNDA Walk While You Can Campaign. We are incredibly moved and grateful to each and every one of you.

Looking forward to seeing everyone next week for the walk. We are planning to meet at the wooden bridge at about 11am and begin walking at 11.30. we'll walk down to the Alfie Byrne Road and back which is just over 5km but also feel free to do a shorter walk or to join en route. A small coffee cart business has kindly offered to come down and will be selling coffees at the wooden bridge from 10.45/11.00 so even if you just want to pop down beforehand for a chat, please do!

We haven't been able to thank you all individually but thank you all so much from the bottom of our hearts, yous are all deadly ❤️

Cillian and the Carroll Family xxx

Walk While You Can for IMNDA this October 19th!

Please join us on the 19th October at 11.30 at the Wooden Bridge in Clontarf for a walk and a coffee to help raise funds for the incredible IMNDA and the work they do for people like my dad living with MND in Ireland.

If you are in a position to donate, please do so!

You can read about my dad's experience with MND here: https://www.imnda.ie/event/walk-while-you-can/wwyc-ambassador---kevin-carroll

Thank you so much,
The Carroll Family

Walk While You Can for IMNDA this October!

Every day the most remarkable people face the toughest of battles and that’s why we're walking while we can this October in support of people living with Motor Neurone Disease. Please help us reach our fundraising target or join us by walking 5km.

This October, it’s up to all of us to ensure that Walk While You Can continue to raise urgently needed funds for people living with MND. So not only are you helping to fund our nursing service, extra home care hours and critical equipment that's needed to keep people at home - you are also sending a powerful message of hope to every family affected by MND.

There are more than 450 people living with this cruel and debilitating disease all across Ireland. The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) is the only organisation in this country supporting these families and it’s a charity that’s very close to our hearts.

Please support our fundraising efforts and help us ensure that every person living with MND receives the dedicated care and support they need.

Hope starts with one step, change happens with many.

Walk While You Can, where you can, with who you can.

Kevin. We miss you at the Culwick. Thanks so much for being such a kind and caring support and person. Your article was great and I admire your outlook very much. All the travel and work you've done abroad sounds so interesting. Knowing you I could see how you would be the right person for that work.My dad.. and I to a lesser extent found TM to be helpful so I'm glad the meditation is something that is good for you. I'm glad to to hear about the supportive network of family, friends and professionals you have in your corner. I think you are a rich man in that regard! Wishing you the very best best Kevin. We miss you but maybe we'll see you at one of the concerts. Maeve Toomey.
